Iram Parveen Bilal, Director
Raised in Nigeria and Pakistan, Iram Parveen Bilal came to America to study at the California Institute of Technology. She graduated with her B.S, honors, in Environmental Science Engineering. Bilal began her career in film by getting her M.F.A. at the prestigious Peter Stark Producing Program at the University of Southern California. Bilal is conscious of the rare opportunity and voice she has on the film making playground. Having directed internationally recognized, award-winning short films, JOSH is her feature debut, which bows to the world in Oct 2012 at the prestigious Mumbai Film Festival.
Mahesh Pailoor, Director
Mahesh Pailoor is an award-winning filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. His films have screened at film festivals all over the world and have won awards including the SKYY Vodka Short Film Awards and have screened on the Sundance Channel. A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Mahesh went on to continue his studies as a directing fellow at the American Film Institute, earning a Masters of Fine Arts degree in 2006 and was awarded the prestigious Franklin J. Schaffner Fellow Award for the direction of his thesis film, Still Life (2007). Mahesh is currently developing feature films under his production company, Nuclear Tribe.
