About the Film

The film is a satirical take on South Asian dating in the US.
The story revolves around a 20/30 something south Asian girl Tara, who is lonely and disappointed in her relationships with men. She has a gay male friend, Rohan who is going through similar feelings even though he is in a relationship. Tara decides to try a South Asian dating event suggested by her mother. She meets several funny characters at the event. She later meets another promising guy who is a doctor but arrogant and self-serving. After a climactic end, both Tara and Rohan decide that the trials and tribulations of life are preferable to the goal of finding that one “perfect” person.
