Being at the Washington DC South Asian Film Festival was a wonderful experience! Congratulations to DCSAFF team for their efforts to showcase such a varied array of different and meaningful films, and for giving so many filmmakers this opportunity. Impeccable Hosts their attention to little details during a packed three days will never be forgotten. It was a memorable experience!

Montgomery College is pleased to collaborate with DCSAFF to bring these outstanding movies and their award winning actors and directors to elaborate on subjects like the empowerment of women, social justice, familial and societal dysfunction, and animal rights to our students, faculty and staff, and to our D.C. metro community.

Thank you to DCSAFF team for putting together another great edition of DCSAFF, we are deeply grateful to both of you. This festival showcased the best of independent cinema from the subcontinent. Our special thanks to all the people who have been long time supporters of DCSAFF. I applaud all of the people who participated in this festival and I thank them for their passion and commitment to this tremendous festival. This festival is instrumental in highlighting social causes and public awareness on arts and culture.

The DCSAFF experience is unique, intimate and exclusive. With a carefully curated basket of films from all over South Asia, it offers Western audiences the other side of several universal truths. And the cosmopolitan world audience is extremely discerning while being appropriately appreciative. Add to that the warmth and hospitality of the Directors Manoj and Geeta Singh and you have a festival that is already making its mark as the major annual cinematic event of Washington DC!
