“Thank you very much for being such excellent hosts and giving so much of your time to look after Nira and myself while we were there for your festival. I am sure the festival is going to catch on and you will be able to have a more elaborate and scaled up South Asian Festival from next year. Our very best wishes to you.”

  • Late Farooq Shaikh

“Reached Mumbai, tired, jet lagged, but full of respect and admiration for the extra ordinary work you are doing. This is not possible without a passion for a cause, and truly an act of service. Can be done only as a "labor of love". May DCSAFF have increasing and recurring success! You have our support from Mumbai! ”

  • Sarita Joshi

“I take opportunity to congratulate you for a well organized festival and I am happy that overall the event was really well managed. It is good to see that you are bringing good artistic films from India to be viewed by the general public who may otherwise not get this opportunity. You deserve to be congratulated for giving people a chance to see South Asian art forms. I wish you good luck for the future and hope that you continue to host such events with success.”

  • Sanjay Suri

“It was great to attend the DC SAFF. The festival offered diversity, originality and thought provoking content from South Asia which was enriching and entertaining for me. DCSAFF offers a great platform for Independent film makers and I certainly would love to come back to the festival in future"

  • Rajit Kapoor

“Your warm hospitality, the positive vibrations, high energy levels and the earnestness and enthusiasm of volunteers made this DCSAFF a memorable experience. I'm sure this festival will grow from strength to strength”

  • Omi Vaidya

“Attending the DCSAFF was a great privilege. Exceptional films & enthusiastic audiences. DC Metro residents now have a festival that screens the best of South Asian Cinema. I hope I get the honor of screening my next film at the DCSAFF”
